As an ILS Engineer your responsibilities may include:
- ILS Engineering Project Management;
- Supportability Engineering Support;
- Technical authoring;
- Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA);
- Level of Repair Analysis (LoRA);
- Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM);
- Provisioning data compilation;
- Disposal analysis;
- Supportability case preparation;
- Life Cycle Cost (LCC) assessment;
- Assessing and implementing change on existing logistics data;
- Input of the results of the above into a database;
- Undertake production of reports as requested by contract, customer, or project.
We are looking for enthusiastic, flexible and reliable team members, whom demonstrate the following skills:
- Must have a good understanding of the support engineering / ILS discipline (Essential);
- Must have significant experience of Def-Stan00-60 / 00-600 and Defence Logistic Framework and their tailoring / applicationto major defence programmes (Essential);
- Experience of ASD S3000L and its application tosupportability analysis programmes (Highly Desirable)
- Project management qualification (Desirable);
- Current in-service MoD support environmentengineering knowledge and experience (Desirable);
- Experience in maintenance and maintenance planning with the Marine or Weapons engineering departments (Desirable);
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong IT skills (including MS Office programmes);
- High ethos, high value with strong interpersonal skills.
It should be noted that to be considered for this role, you must be a UK national and eligible to hold UK Security Clearance at SC level.
