The candidate will have Commercial seagoing experience. This candidate would work alongside our team of Technical and Graduate Support Engineers in applying engineering through life support. We believe this is an exciting opportunity to allow the continued development of a maritime career within a shore based role.

The successful candidate, depending on experience, will be given the opportunity to complete our bespoke Junior Technical Support Engineer Development Plan which will provide a pathway for CPD, promotion to Technical Support Engineer and potentially Chartered status.
As a Marine Engineer Consultant your responsibilities will include:
- Customer support activities across multiple maritime domains;
- Applying engineering knowledge and judgement to provide technical analysis and troubleshooting support;
- Supporting global maintenance optimisation projects;
- Technical authoring;
- Maintenance management including optimisation and through life support;
- Project Management activities;
- Supporting Xpedite’s Intelligence Delivery Team in the development of future products and applications;
- Business development.
We are looking for enthusiastic, flexible and reliable team members, who demonstrate the following skills:
- Current in-service commercial maritime engineering knowledge and seagoing experience is essential;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Strong IT skills (including MS Office programmes);
- High ethos, high value with strong interpersonal skills.
It should be noted that to be considered for this role, you must be a UK national and eligible to hold UK Security Clearance at SC level.
