As a Technical Support Engineer your responsibilities will include:
- Customer support activities across multiple MoD and service provider domains;
- Applying engineering knowledge and judgement to provide technical analysis and troubleshooting support;
- Technical authoring;
- Maintenance management including optimisation and through life support;
- Project Management activities;
- Supporting Xpedite’s Intelligence Delivery Team in the development of future products and applications;
- Mentoring junior engineers and graduates;
- Business development.
The roles can be based in any UK location, due to our flexible working arrangements. We have offices located in Bath (head office), Plymouth, Portsmouth, Bristol and Faslane should you prefer to be office based. Travel for business purposes within the UK will be required.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for enthusiastic, flexible, and reliable team members, who demonstrate the following skills:
- Experience in maintenance and maintenance planning within the engineering departments is essential;
- Project management qualification (Desirable);
- Excellent communication skills;
- Strong IT skills (including MS Office programmes);
- High ethos, high value with strong interpersonal skills.
It should be noted that to be considered for this role, you must be a UK national and eligible to hold UK Security Clearance at SC level.
