Xpedite successfully delivered the whole boat RCM for the ASTUTE Class submarines, the most advanced, and most complex submarines ever operated by the Royal Navy.
Xpedite were contracted by the MoD to support the prime contractor in delivery of the whole boat maintenance strategy by applying RCM principles in accordance with Def Stan 00-45. Effective project management and drawing on lessons learnt ensured the delivery of a safe, practical and cost effective maintenance solution.
Xpedite is a MoD approved supplier of RCM consultancy and facilitation. We have vast experience of contract facilitation and Through Life Management of RCM databases. Xpedite were selected as the service provider to the prime contractor due to our specialist knowledge in RCM, Submarine SQEP and long term relationship with the MoD RCM Group.
Tasking has also been extended to help manage the Integrated UMMS (Unit Maintenance Management System) Environment under contract with Submarine in-service support. Through life activities include management of the data, quality assurance and the grouping and scheduling of maintenance within the maintenance management system.
